THE GODFATHER - DIDDY FEATURING BLACK ROB AND G-DEP

Here is one of my all time favorite joints. This track right here captured the aura of Harlem. I remember while in Puff's Room at Daddy's House Tony Dofat was going through songs. This song accidently played and he almost skipped over it. The song at the time just had Dep verse on it, and a couple bars from Black Rob. I was like hold up, stop the press! Puff walked in and was like what's this playing. Then he kept talking about how hot G-Dep is lyrically. What people may not know but Puff is into LYRICS. Puff can dissect and analyze lyrics with accuracy of a sharp shooter. Well I was like man this joint is Harlem, this is 8th Avenue, Lenox, 145th, 155th, 116th, etc. It was a job to get this finished, Black Rob at Star island accompanied by bottle of Hennessy Privilege, Puff creating synergy of a grand wizard, DJ Drop and Tony Dofat overseeing the sounds. I remember all of us talking about days of Harlem, dudes driving down 8th avenue with a leg out the window, honey's on 125th, games at King Dome. I pushed hard to get this song done. It got finished, thanks Fafu and Bink. The end result the sample got rejected. This song was one of early songs we recorded when doing Press Play album. I sent to Flex, and NYC got to hear the magic. Well on this summer day crank this joint.
G-dep hold your head, Black Rob good to see you doing your thing, Dofat keep them sit-ups popping! Diddy you already know. Harve What up! Bink the world need more joints from you! Harve, a true soldier and General, what up!

RON G MIXTAPE 8 & BAD BOY VOL. 3 BY DIDDY AND STRETCH ARMSTRONG

Seasons Greetings! Hope all is well and everybody scored on Cyber-Monday. Also can't forget to shout out Black Friday Shopper Survivors!

Well as mentioned before I will be posting tunes here for listening pleasure and Promotional Use Only for my blog followers.

Ron G hailing from Harlem, Pologrounds on 155th is a friend and also served as inspiration for many dj's!
Ron G and Kid Capri blending of Hip Hop Instrumentals with R&B accapella's were a blueprint for what we know now as the remix.
Mixtape 8 is a classic, you can ever hear the Jodeci "Come and Talk To Me", which was done by him first. Later on it was adopted and used by Uptown Records as a official remix. Ron G went on to be a producer and did tracks for Fat Joe, LL Cool J, and many more.

Check out Ron G below:

The second mixtape was part of series which was hosted by a friend, boss, and trendsetter Puff Daddy aka Diddy aka Ciroc Obama.
When these mixtapes were done in a era where Puff was ruling the airwaves. Bad Boy was on a climax at this time all while being hated by certain individuals. Puff, however pursued Benjamins, pushed love, and made us all dance. Puff never stopped and till this day still going strong. Drink some Coconut Ciroc mixed with Mistic Pina Colada while you enjoy these tunes. Also be on the watch for The Last Train To Paris. Shouts to my Bad Boy Family!

AS FAR AS I KNOW I CAN AGREE: NO ONE ON THE CORNER HAS SWAGGER LIKE MY HOMIE

Here is a video and song by my friend Sean 'Diddy' Combs aka Hitmaker, Stunner, and Official Swagger King.
I can say this man right here officially crowned the term
Swagger
Yes yall. I remember as far as 1998 when my homie Nore interviewed him all the way to now (mind you I worked for this man from from 2000 to 2005) has always coined this term. He always spoke truth on how he does things, and I can say he always did with a "Harlem Flare" and "Uptown Attitude".
I remember a time when Diddy had a convo with Baby from Cash Money and he talked about how he been stunnin' from the time he spit out Cris in Nas video, to blowing up a Bentley in a video. I mean he did yall! Always reppin' Lenox Avenue and Rich, Black, And MotherF%$@in' Famous, Ladies and Gentlemen here goes by boy Diddy! Pump this and throw a fist in the air in Time Square!

Byron Now we can play this! lol!
