TRON - 1/6 LIGHT CYCLE BY HOT TOYS AND SKATEBOARD

The Tron Sequel has fans like myself looking forward to great merchandise. I must say Tron was a heavy influence on me as kid. I hope I never get zapped into my Xbox while playing Call Of Duty. LOL!

I came across a skateboard which was inspired by the movie. The Tron Legacy skateboard dubbed as a skatecycle was designed by Alon Karpman at Brooklyn Workshop.

The second cool piece of merchandise is a 1/6 figure of Sam Flynn and the iconic Light Cycle by Hot Toys.

THE RADIO FLYER CLOUD 9 - TRAIN EM' TO STUNT LIKE DADDY

Look like society doesn't give the toddlers an option of being a simple kid anymore nowadays?! It the words of Wu-Tang Clan "Can It Be It Was All So Simple Then"
Well remember the days of Big Wheels, and Radio Flyer Red Wagons? Too bad and fast forward! It's 2009, and baby momma's have self folding strollers, and seven year old kids tote cell phones!
Well my G's, there is something to add to the lux experience of childhood in 2009.
Introducing the Cloud 9 by Radio Flyer. The Cloud 9 is almost equivalent to a car on wheels, minus the gas. Outfitted with two seats (which has a 5-point safety harness, I guess wagon races can get real deal huh?) has and MP3 docking station, speakers, and a odometer just to name a few specifications. Also for those kids with the spiked sippy cups there are cup holders. The Cloud 9 will retail for $1000 and will be in production soon, according to sources.


Mark Johnson the Product development manager of Radio Flyer stated, "We approached this product much like an automotive company might with a concept car." So on that note, I wonder if there is wagon insurance or do kids have to worry about Wagon Wheel Loans in this economy?

HEADPHONIES

Well for all my vinyl toy lovers and figure collection enthusiasts here is something for you. Headphonies had made a mini audio speaker vinyl figure. The Headphonies retail for about $30 and comes in seven cool styles. The figures are 3" and are done by various artist and limited editions. It is recommended for the regular blank ones not to paint on it because they paint doesn't stick, but I guess hey once you buy it it's up to you if you want to break the rules!

GOLGO 13 1/6 SCALE FIGURE BY HOT TOYS

Golgo 13, Hitman for Hire cartoon character, was introduced in 1969 by Takao Saito. Duke's alias ("Golgo 13") is short for Golgotha, the place of Jesus Christ's crucifixion. Published as a series in Shogakukan's Big Comic magazine it has evolved into anime and even live action films. Duke Togo aka Golgo 13 is the definition to hitman in my opinion. A ladies man, smooth movements, mystique, and sense of fashion always fascinated me as a kid. Although he is merely a fiction character he represented or was relative to some people I know in my life. Introduced to Golgo 13- The Professional in 5th grade I came to own any publications, movies, and videogames that involves this character.
Well the folks at Hot Toys are releasing a 1/6 Scale Figure of Golgo 13 in 2009. The figure will retail for $200...check your favorite comic and toy retailer, or as I did make call to the Forbidden Planet.

DESTRO-KAWS- YES, AND KNOWING IS HALF THE BATTLE....
