THE VILLA JULIA CARBOARD PLAYHOUSE

Every now and then you have to remember the children. As a loving father, I always make sure I keep the kids in mind for the Gcodes. The children are the future! So on that note pave the way and set the examples with eco-friendly fun. The playhouse designed by Javier Mariscal speaks for itself in all ways. I never knew cardboard could look so fun! Javier Mariscal keeps all ages in mind for design.

Shout to my very special sweethearts Gianni and Golden.....can't forget the cookie bandit Alexa!
Love the kids my people and raise them right!

ECO CHIC - THE RECYCLED PULL TAB HANDBAGS BY ESCAMA STUDIO

Well since Go-Green seem to be a key priority and value expressed, it was only a matter of time it would be in fashion. Recycled accessories have been popping up in the marketplace quite frequently around the world. Now here is a cool accessory that seems chic, cool, and also beneficial in more ways than one. Escama Studio presents a line of handbags handcrafted in Brazil by women. The word "Escama"is derived from a Portuguese word meaning fish scales, which when the tabs are crafted together does resemble the definition. Craft Cooperatives in Brazil offer the women a way to earn a living and advance in business training. Escama Studio is not only making use of used goods but providing for families, a continuous cycle within itself! Each bag comes with a personal note inside of it from the artist who made it, which truly demonstrates connecting producer to the consumer.

"Escama abides by fair trade principles as a member of the Fair Trade Federation (FTF) and offers a fair living wage for their products. In addition, over the past four years they have assisted the artist groups to establish bank accounts and have generously donated computers, furniture, educational training and a percentage of sales."

TIRED OF LAND - GO LIVE ON A BOAT HOUSE, THE SCHWIMMHAUS

Well with Global warming becoming more evident day marine living will be a lifestyle. What better way to "Go Green" and live on the go, then to stay on the Schwimmhaus. The Schwimmhaus is Houseboat designed by Confused-Direction, a German architect company, based in Oldenburg. The houseboat is made up of sustainable materials and wood from a salvaged farmhouse. The roof of the boat is grass, as to keep its eco-friendly theme. The boat will be completed by the Spring, and there is no price of it as of now. This boat sounds like a good idea....I don't think it can hold a good party in St.Barth's but bet it will capture eyes! However with Pirates on the rise off the coast of Africa...let's hope they don't Migrate and want to take this boat, lol! I like this home though, reminds me of a Adam Kalkin Container Home on water.

KICK, PUSH AND MAYBE RIDE! THE SVEPA BIKE

Here is cool designed Go-Green bike/scooter. Designed by Par Lanking from Sweden this plywood and aluminum frames can be a scooter with a seat for your boo or child ( If I'm a dude I don't give rides to other dudes, that's not for me or within my G-Code belief as a grown man, lol) or a bicycle. There is footboards on the back which serve as "pegs' so to speak.

Here is a statement from the designer:
The bike is designed taking eco-commuting to the next level. The research and prototyping was built upon cleaning (fishing bikes from) the river Po’ in Turin, Italy, to get material for the first prototype. Cheap and as fast as possible. In the same time it directed the project towards the “No Oil” manifest and the integration of nature and it’s material in the bike. Laminated wood and aluminium was chosen for the frame. This gave the bike chock-absorbing character, and integrated fenders into the frame. The bike has it target among a hi-end, trend sensitive public, looking for fun while commuting short distance. You can carry a second passenger behind you, and the “surf deck” between pedals and front fender allows you to use it as a kick-bike. Very useful crossing streets and in crowded places were pedaling is difficult or even dangerous.
