LET ME RIDE

The growing number of people going "Green" or getting physically fit has been increasing. Hipster's and the fixed bikes, cool dudes and the folding bike's, it's all about two wheels. I personally say, "any wheels beat the heels." Well I came across some cool bikes.

Hublot
in partnership with BMC have made a limited edition bicycle. In the words of Jay-Z, "All black everything"! The bike was made in a limited quantity of 30 bicycles and were race tested in Monaco. This bike is sleek and made with carbon fiber.
I bet if those kids from the E.T. movie had this bike they would've never got seen by the police.

The next bike is a called the Compactable Urban Bicycle. The bike was designed by Victor M. Allen
The bike is truly a "Folding Bike".

The Wheel is composed by six modules, each one has a double pivot in the joints, this allows the wheel to fold and become smaller, the spokes are contained in the inner structure of the wheel, when you unfold the system, the spokes rotate to the center of the mechanism where it attach to the center of the wheel. The bike structure is composed by expandable modules, each one collapses to a smaller dimension and then this modules align by the rotation of the axis in the joint of the structure, to keep in position all the structure is used an special part in a form of an X that aligns all the modules to their position.

In The meantime enjoy the weather, stay in shape, and shout to the Honey's whipping those bikes through NYC!

LUX 2 WHEELIN' - THE FERRARI MOTORCYCLE

Here is design that looks like Tron meets Akira. This design is by Amir Glinik, who claims he influence for design was vintage Ferrari Designs. This has a Ferrari V4 Integrated Drive Unit, with hand controls inspired by the throttle quadrant of a F16 jet fighter, and a touch screen (yes, navigation and the ability to do other multifunctions like control the radio).

Amir made this statement about the bike:V
intage and modern Ferrari projects influence my design. It’s a mix of what I find to be the best Ferrari lines with the latest technology I could think of in terms of engine, gear and driving management. Preserving Ferrari lines and history, the aim is to create a bike with normal dimensions using existing Ferrari technology; to take the ease of service as a factor while thinking about low profile and CG. To produce a practical machine and not in any way a “Star Wars” future ride…”

KICK, PUSH AND MAYBE RIDE! THE SVEPA BIKE

Here is cool designed Go-Green bike/scooter. Designed by Par Lanking from Sweden this plywood and aluminum frames can be a scooter with a seat for your boo or child ( If I'm a dude I don't give rides to other dudes, that's not for me or within my G-Code belief as a grown man, lol) or a bicycle. There is footboards on the back which serve as "pegs' so to speak.

Here is a statement from the designer:
The bike is designed taking eco-commuting to the next level. The research and prototyping was built upon cleaning (fishing bikes from) the river Po’ in Turin, Italy, to get material for the first prototype. Cheap and as fast as possible. In the same time it directed the project towards the “No Oil” manifest and the integration of nature and it’s material in the bike. Laminated wood and aluminium was chosen for the frame. This gave the bike chock-absorbing character, and integrated fenders into the frame. The bike has it target among a hi-end, trend sensitive public, looking for fun while commuting short distance. You can carry a second passenger behind you, and the “surf deck” between pedals and front fender allows you to use it as a kick-bike. Very useful crossing streets and in crowded places were pedaling is difficult or even dangerous.

F$#K A BENZ, I CAN PULL A B*@%H ON A PEDDLE BIKE!

Here is a bike for my stunnas. The bike right here is in a lane all by itself, introducing BMX 24 carat gold Hutch Prostar from Goldstriker. This bike gives you the excuse to roll up on any top model, holla, peel off, and wheelie after getting the digits.
With raising gas prices, it will be about bikes rather than whips and rims in a sec!

I can see Pharrell copping this one...
